Road bike training


The weekly program starts monday and ends saturday. We mostly cycle on quiet side roads with good conditions.
You can book our tours from february-may.


Groups

We will start in February with one Group, from march until may we provide 2 groups. The speed is according to the group. Group "SPORT" tours are longer and the average speed higher than group "TOUR". The complete either of both programs, you should have a basic fitness level and good endurance. You can also switch groups.

Levels of difficulty

leicht easy, the tour does not have more than 100hm/10km in avarage and no constant uphills >8%.

mittel medium, the tour has more than 100hm/10km and sometime uphills >8%.

schwer heavy, the tour has a minimum of 100hm/10km in average and sometime uphills >8%. Longer uphills are possible, the tour is longer than the "level medium" tour.


Program "Group SPORT"

The average speed of the following tours is usually >23km/h.

Mo > The southwest (coast and backlands) approx. 70 km, 900hm, hilly but slower speed, the area around Paguera and Santa Ponsa, including the former fishermen village Sant Elm. Training focus: warm up
Level: leicht

Tue > Flat to the center of the island, approx. 125 km, 900hm, mostly flat towards the middle of the island (Santa Maria-Sencelles). Training focus: basis training
Level: mittel

Wed > Coast ride, approx. 80km, 1500hm, up and down along the most beautiful part of the island coast. Training focus: mountain
Level: schwer

Fri.& Sat. > Tour alternatives, depending on fitness and requirements of the group, one of the listed tours below will be suggested.

Program "Group TOUR"

The average speed of the following tours is between 20 - 23km/h

Mo > The southwest (coast and backlands) approx. 55 km, 750hm, hilly but slower speed, the area around Paguera and Santa Ponsa, including the former fishermen village Sant Elm. Training focus: warm up
Level: mittel

Before we start the first tour: Explaination of the program and safety hints, description of the terrain, bike handling and other hints.

5 guided tours according to the above description. (Bus transfers are not included)

Should the weather conditions not allow us to cycle, we will try to catch up on thursday or at the end of the program.



If you are traveling on your own bike, you can still book and join our groups.

The tours start on mondays (from Paguera Cycling Center 10:00am, from Santa Ponca 10:30am.

Option day tours: you can book a single day for 10€.
